From humble beginnings, our rise as a rugby club has been a story of hard work, community & commitment. As with every journey, there have been monumental highs and tragic lows; extraordinary successes & crushing setbacks, but this has all contributed to where, who, and what we are today. After nearly 100 years, we certainly have a story to tell but our journey is only just beginning.

Bury St Edmunds RFC provides a rugby home to over 4,000 members but we are #morethanjustarugbyclub. The Greene King IPA Haberden is somewhere to meet friends, network, enjoy a lunch, support local businesses, attend or run events, go to the gym, drink local beer & coffee, support charities, & much more. Whatever brings you to the Haberden, you’ll be met with that famous rugby club welcome.

On certain days, you’ll be able to catch some of the region’s finest rugby players in action at some of the region’s most exceptional facilities.

Indeed, our rugby success is our pride and joy. It is no secret that the foundations for this success have been built on the unparalleled voluntary support of our members, the power of community & the extraordinary generosity of our sponsors & partners. Without these partners, we simply would not be where we are today. However, our ambitions remain high and we are constantly aiming to welcome new partners, supporters & sponsors into the #buryrugbyfamily.

Every rugby club has a sponsorship requirement, Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club is no exception.

However, it is the ambitions of our club that mean our commercial requirements are a necessity.

We must uphold our responsibilities to our members, to our game and to our community; as a rugby club - and beyond.

To ensure this remains a hard enough task - with rising costs and a tough economic climate ensuring this. Whilst we must respect these obstacles, we must also be brave enough to continue chasing our lofty ambitions - as we also owe this to our Bury Rugby Family and local community.

We remain ambitious both on and off the field. Understanding our multi-faceted role in the community, we must continue to strive towards these ambitions. It is therefore our task to ensure and balance that Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club remains a community club - on and off the field - for another 100 years, but moreover, that the next 100 years are even better than the last.

Continued progression across the whole club, major development of our women’s and girls’ rugby offering, the launch of rugby for all in Bury St Edmunds, further charity work, major facility improvements, multiple team promotions, playing the highest level of rugby ever, an enhanced player pathway, heightened community work, the best mini and youth section in the National Leagues and much more, a brand new stadium stand - are all targets in the scope.

For this, we need help. We find ourselves at a pivotal moment in our club’s history. Whilst the support of our sponsors continues to exceed expectations, it is clear that if we are to continue on our ambitious journey, we need to push just a little bit harder.
