The camp gave attendees the chance to develop their skills and knowledge in a professional and enjoyable environment. The camps are led by our Rugby Development Officer and Senior Performance Squad member, Ben Cooper, who heads up our thriving community section.

As a #community club, we pride ourselves on our position within the community and we are proud to be able to offer sport to thousands of local children over the course of a year, through our holiday camps and school coaching arrangements.

During this half term camp, we were delighted to be able to extend this further with the support of a new partner sponsor, holidaycottages.co.uk – one of the UK’s leading holiday-letting agencies.

Through the major school holidays, the club is grateful to receive funding for attendee places on our camps. However, for some holidays, funding is not available. holidaycottages.co.uk recognised this and as part of their sponsorship package stated that they wished to fund 50 places on the May half term camp. As such, we were able to make #sportaccessibleforall & offer this camp to more children than ever.

The support of holidaycottages.co.uk has also provided a free meal to every attendee – a vitally important element of such busy days!

This support from holidaycottages.co.uk has helped us enhance and truly live out our #communityfirst value, as we constantly strive to do more in the community with which we are so intrinsically linked.

This partnership has also allowed holidaycottages.co.uk to do ‘more of the right thing’ & further support the communities they represent.
