Half-time Bury 24-12 TJs

TJs seemed to take on board his words of wisdom and began stringing phases together and forcing Bury into a catastrophic series of penalties, a creaking Bury scrum compounded their issues.
Consecutive penalties bore fruit for TJs and another catch and drive try scored by man of the match Holling, Wright converted.
Bury 24-19 TJs
Bury struggled to re-establish their flowing form of the first 30 minutes and TJs were happy for Bury to concede penalties, kick for touch to accrue further penalties. From one such situation the referee played an advantage, a clever kick-through by Wright resulted in a try for Duncan Tout, Wright converted.

Full-time Bury 27-36 TJs
The Haberden faithful were left bemused at this result asking the question how could a Bury team that were so dominant in the first 30 minutes and leading by 19 points lose by 9? The coaching team will want to analyse the ridiculous number of unnecessary penalties conceded TJs will consider this a huge result scoring 26 unanswered points and whilst their play can be somewhat prescriptive it's also highly effective. Their second-half performance demonstrated true character and resilience resulting in the double whilst inflicting Bury's first defeat since September.
